Triad Building Company is a Cashiers, North Carolina based premiere custom home builder. As one of the few area builders who possess an unlimited license to practice general contracting, we provide turnkey, fixed price, fixed duration, homebuilding services in the beautiful mountain towns of Cashiers, Lake Toxaway, and Sapphire, North Carolina.

Building a home represents a huge emotional and financial commitment for our customers. Building from a distance, like so many of our customers do, can create added anxiety. Open Communication:
Success in any endeavor is best achieved when expectations are clearly defined from the outset. To achieve this end, communication has to be direct and frequent. Whether via phone, face to face meetings, email, digital pictures or production reports, you can expect the very best in communication from us through every phase of the home building process.

Fixed Price Contracts:
We understand how important it is for you to know what your home is going to cost before the project begins. In recognition of this, we are one of the few home builders in our marketplace willing to commit to a true fixed price contract. This approach provides great peace of mind to our customers.

When we present you with a price proposal, it will include a very detailed set of materials and specifications, a detailed site plan and other pertinent data to ensure you know exactly what you are receiving for the price. As part of our pricing proposal, we include significant cost items like foundations and retaining walls. Additionally, smaller items (that certainly add up) are also included; these items include all temporary utility charges, permits and even insurance which covers your home while under construction. Our price is truly a fixed price contract.

Fixed Duration Contracts:
We are also one of the few builders who are willing to commit to a fixed duration contract. We will actually impose financial penalties on ourselves if your home is not completed within the timeframe prescribed in our contract documents.

Site Planning Services:
Building in the mountains is not like building on a flat piece of property. Many complicated factors come into play when trying to place a specific design on your homesite. Our goal is to maximize your property's amenities while also keeping cost efficiencies in mind. We work with you closely to balance these factors. These efforts culminate in a detailed site plan that dictates exactly how we will build the home on your property based on your desires and expectations.

Design/Build Services:
Many of our customers come to us with only ideas and concepts as to what they want from their mountain home. Additionally, the property itself often dictates the type of home that can be best built on the homesite. Turning these ideas and concepts into a set of blueprints that captures exactly what you desire and while also complimenting the home site can be a challenging process.

We can link you with capable, cost effective design professionals who can turn your wants and needs into reality. We manage and stay involved in the entire process from the very beginning to ensure the end product meets your expectations. Additionally, we can contribute "value engineering" suggestions based on our experience that can help a customer save valuable dollars in the overall cost of the home.

Warranty & Service After the Sale:
Unfortunately, our industry does not have the best reputation when it comes to warranty and after the sale customer requests. We believe that warranty and "punch list" requests are every bit as important as the quality that goes into building our homes.

We have a well defined system for handling both punch list and warranty repair requests. Once an item is recorded, we will promptly get back to you with a date in which you can expect to see action on the request. Of course, any items that affect the quality of living in your home will be addressed immediately.
