"From the beginning, of this process I had hesitations about being a remote owner going through the building process. David Parks was recommended as one of 2 builders in the area by our realtor. With no guarantees David met with us, helped us evaluate lots, helping create a "vision" of a home on the lot. He even climbed up a 25 foot ladder into a tree to help me get a perception of what the view from our back deck might look like. David was very patient, answering the many questions I had regarding the building process and even letting me talk with specific contractors when necessary. I never felt pressured, but felt like I was dealing with an honest, hard working business man.

Once the contract was signed the Triad group was very professional and made the building process as easy as possible. I've built one other house and even though we don't live in the area, this was as smooth as the previous one. Communication was very good, with an added bonus of pictures e-mailed to us every 2-3 weeks. Picking options was simplified by the Triad staff providing websites with options available, local retail establishments to visit or setting up appointments for us during our visits to the Cashiers area.

Anytime we were in the area the Triad staff introduced us to the contractors working on the house, helping to make us feel even more comfortable with the process. Construction timelines were met from beginning to end. Very simply, commitments made were lived up to. Once the house was completed the friendliness has continued as the Triad team has recommended reputable contractors for other activities we might choose to pursue.

We have thoroughly enjoyed our new home. It is everything we hoped for, with no disappointments. I feel like the team at Triad went out of their way to make us feel like family, not just a customer. Whether it was meeting us on a weekend to pick light fixtures, making calls to set up an appointment in our home town for a visit or working with changes we had to the plans, I never felt like it was an inconvenience to them. The service they provide sets them apart. My biggest disappointment with the completion of our home is not being able to talk to the Triad team each week!
